Cargoes that fail tests, or those designed to meet client’s requirements, could be blended to standard or acceptable specifications and market needs. This practice could be carried out in the laboratory, at the shore depot, onboard the vessel, and so on, using our fore-knowledge of the cargo physical and chemical characteristics as well as client’s advice.
