Whenever cargoes are transferred from one container to another, or transported from one source location to another or both processes, there is a likelihood of incurring losses. These frequently occur during custody transfer of products; and the more complex the operation, the more likelihood of losses. If the operations and operators are not put to proper checks and surveillance, losses can increase tremendously. This can lead to serious claims and/or litigations by offended parties.
